In search of a style
- David White
- This blog project has drawn to a close – a year-long learning process in photography. The experience has been quite amazing – a very steep learning curve and therefore also very rewarding. Getting out and pushing my personal limits on a regular basis has taught me not only about taking better photographs, but also heightened my awareness of the world around me quite acutely. I am always in awe at how beautiful these pictures are. You are so amazing!!!!!
I LOVE the first picture the sharp angels are really attractive and catch the eye, the contrast between the ice the sky and the ground are very crisp and defined.
Did you use the HDR technique on these photos??
Thanks Jade! The top ice shot uses HDR technique as do a lot of the other iceland landscape shots. I am not sure I will do a great deal more HDR - its a little unnatural looking, but its a great tool to have for the right moment!
